Apple Music apple music should be unified across all devices
music control should be unified across all apple devices, at least when using apple music. i use all my devices to play music on apple music, each depending on the situation.
but every time, i have to switch and navigate through menus if for example i’m going from watch to ipad or even watch to iphone and vice versa, because each device has its own now playing, and ipad can’t be controlled from the watch at all.
this is a major pain in the ass. it should all be unified in my opinion so that it’s all seamless.
perhaps the easiest thing would be an “icloud now playing”, where you can see what’s playing on all devices on that icloud and control them. the apple watch has something similar but only for watch and iphone.
if you agree please send this to apple feedback https://www.apple.com/feedback

Discussion Is Apple becoming more "sloppy"?
I'm prepared for the downvotes, but before you do know that I'm a pretty diehard Apple guy (and will continue to be). That being said, over the last couple years I've started noticing (navigating) more and more strange issues, to the point that sometimes they seem to dominate my Apple experience. Are the bugs, inconsistencies and super blatantly anti-consumer decisions becoming more frequent, or am I just now starting to pay attention?
I unfortunately (or fortunately) don't have a giant list of gripes, but between my Mac, iPhone and iPad, I feel like my comfy/cozy Apple experience is becoming more and more rocky.
Most recently, with Stage Manager (not the initial lack of support for older pro devices, but that one counts too) - it just flat-out doesn't work for me. I'm very reasonably techy, I don't think it's user-error...but between the 3 monitors I've tried it on, the half dozen cables I've pulled out, the 3 different docks - it has never once "just worked". I've gotten close (stage manager active, other monitor recognized -- but with broken aspect ratios, etc. I know that it's brand spankin' new software, but I don't remember a time in my whole life when an Apple-produced thing just flat-out sucked. Don't get me wrong, Apple has released buggy this/that, bad hardware, I know - but it feels like this is less the exception, and starting to become the rule?
Just a few minutes ago I saw that the Apple Music Classic, the (kinda?) weird app focused exclusively on classical music that Apple hyped up like crazy, doesn't have a dedicated iPad version.
Apple rushing things to market before they're finished, and then delaying them from final releases for months -- and even pulling them "back" (like Stage Manager), or announcing things and never delivering (AirPower).
My M1 Pro Macbook seems to become increasingly erratic as time goes on. Just small issues here and there (visual bugs, freezes, dialog/save box issues, shutdowns). I know that most people's default thought is "you must be doing something wrong", but for the sake of the argument let's pretend that I'm not outright doing anything wrong. It doesn't help my case that I can't rattle off a dozen exact issues, but I think that kinda props up my angle more than anything. I'm not keeping score and writing down every time my devices goof up and I don't want to be petty. It just feels constant/frequent.
Am I nuts, and has it always been this way? Genuinely looking for other people's thoughts, my goal is not to start a hate train.

Discussion Using Apple’s official iPhone 14 Pro Max silicone case caused scratches to the stainless steel on my iPhone, is there any way I can get this rectified by either the iPhone or case warranty?
been babying my iPhone without a case since the day I got it (launch day) and haven’t had a single scratch until I started using a case

Discussion With the announcement of WWDC23 - What is at the top of your iOS17 feature wish list?
Mine would be improvements in Apple Music:
-Crossfade for iOS & iPadOS
-A party mode that allows you to create a session and have others join it and queue songs (much like Spotify)
-Better reporting; yeah Replay is ok but I would love to be able to see many listening stats at a glance without having to use third party software or iTunes (while it still lives)

iPhone Do people still camp outside Apple Stores for new iPhones?
I remember back in the days of iPhone 4s up to the I believe iPhone x people used to camp outside Apple stores to get their hands on the new iPhone. And they used to stay for days and bring their food with them. I wonder if they still do that?
