Okay. So, I looked at all the info on the sidebar and here regarding JB+ and even made a search here, but I must not be doing it right, so here’s my question.

I know that currently there are no JBs for iPhone 13 and 14 Pro - Max running iOS16+, but could I at least install some Altstore apps? And if so, how? Everything I’ve searched via browser, I’ve come back empty handed, and there are a ton of scams out there, I almost fall for one. I’d be incredibly grateful if someone here could kindly educate me a little. Thank you so much in advance. Lastly, a big thank you to the mods who have done an outstanding job providing newcomers like me the info needed to get us started. Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed!

Once jailbroken on 15.4, could something be installed that does this fix released in the 15.4.1 update?

I’m looking to upgrade my phone to a 14 pro, and I realize that there are no JB’s available atm.

I came across a post comment the other day and I didn’t get a chance to save it, but I recall it stating that I can install tweaked apps without a JB.

The tweaks that I mainly use are Rocket, CarPlayEnable, Watusi, DLEasy. Is it possible to side load Instagram and WhatsApp with these tweaks injected into them? I’d love to somehow keep CarPlayEnable, but it’s not a deal breaker.

If I can install tweaked apps, how would I go about it?

I tried searching, but there’s so much conflicting information, so I figured I’d ask and make an informed decision based on the responses to my question.

Is it worth to look for one with iOS 14.8 and lower, or any with 15.x will suffice? I was wondering if there are any limitations (besides passcode) on palera1n ios 15.x vs. the unc0ver on previous os versions? Because I kinda missed 2 years of jailbreaking history there :) Just wanna buy a safe option to jailbreak and play with further.

Hey all, I picked up an iPhone X that is currently on 14.2. I understand I can use an untethered JB on this iOS. But I'm debating whether to update to 16.3.1 for palera1n (semi-untethered) because I'm concerned about future app compatibility.

Eventually when apps stop supporting iOS14, I'm worried that 16.3.1 won't be signed anymore and then I'd be stuck without a JB. Is this a legitimate concern and is there a way around this? (e.g., saving blobs for both 14.2 and 16.3.1? and restoring to 14.2?).

Passcode/FaceID is not important to me and I'd imagine there are some big improvements in iOS 16 from iOS 14, but does that beat the convenience of an untethered JB?

I've been trying to find a tweak that'll stop charging at ~95% and only resume charging when the device is below 80%, so I can just leave it on a charger all the time and not worry about hurting the battery by leaving it at 100% all the time.

I tried BattSafePro and while it installs fine, it doesn't actually work.
