Just installed Lineage 18.1 on a VS995 with Verizon. LTE/data is working just fine. But SMS isn't working and whenever I try to make a call I get "mobile network not available" error.

Is there something I'm missing? Usually it's the other way around where LTE has trouble working. The SIM is good, not sure what else to try.

Hello,

I just upgraded from LOS 19.1 to LOS 20 on Kebab, following the instructions at https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/kebab/upgrade.

Everything went well, I can boot the system, I do have a WiFi and cellular connection, but the Android Setup Wizard keeps popping a notification. When I open it, it asks to connect to a WiFi network, but even tho I am connected to my home WiFi (which is shown), I cannot continue with the setup.

I did flash MindTheGapps-13.0.0-arm64-20221025_100653.zip after installing LOS 20, ad indicated by the upgrade instructions.

I've flashed the lineageos recovery with heimdall, and I am stuck on this part:

Manually reboot into recovery, this may require pulling the device’s battery out and putting it back in, or if you have a non-removable battery, press the Volume Down + Power buttons for 8~10 seconds until the screen turns black & release the buttons immediately when it does, then boot to recovery:

• Reboot and immediately hold Volume Up + Power while the device is connected to a PC via USB cable.

The download mode shows "Volume Down Key + Power Key for more than 7 secs: Cancel (restart device). This immediately boots to system and recovery gets overwritten with the stock recovery. I can't find any way to exit besides Volume Down and Power keys, but I can't catch anything fast enough to reboot to recovery from there.

I am sure I am just being dumb, but what am I missing here? Am I just not doing button jujitzu fast enough?

I was with OnePlus phones for a long time, and I have always been active in the custom rom scene. This is my first time trying to flash a Samsung device, and this has been very frustrating

I am interested in installing LineageOS on my OP9P. The reason for doing this is the wonky 5G mess I am getting on it using Oxygen OS. Here is what I mean; Currently, I am on the Boost Mobile network (ATT side). When using the OP9P the phone shows that I am on their 4G network. However, when I put the sim card in my Google Pixel 6a, I get 5G. This seems like the OP9P is missing a band or something, but when I get an ATT prepaid, and put in in my OP9P and Pixel 6a I get 5GE. My only conclusion is that OP9P is not reading the signal right. Will putting LOS on my phone fix this and open up the bands on the phone?

This is a feature that is incredibly useful, I know using the recents shortcut is a way, but the gesture is still way more convenient especially for screenshotting videos.

I can't find any module or root app that adds this, AOSP mods doesn't have an option for it. Does anyone know whether or not I can add this manually to LOS?

After updating to the most recent version using the updater app, on reboot I get two error messages.

• Android System Intelligence keeps stopping

If I close the apps, my homescreen repeatedly flashes black and doesn't detect any touchscreen input. The lock screen works fine.

I recently flashed version 20 on guacamole (OnePlus 7 pro) and everything is excellent and working well, my thanks to the developers who brought up and support the device with this excellent ROM.

I have however noticed that there are no options for the lock screen bottom corner shortcuts. For instance, on the stock ROM I could quickly access the camera by swiping from the corner. Will this be possible or am I missing something?

I have several Android phones and tablets set up as static displays around the house, so they are charging 24/7. When the OS keeps them topped off at 100%, that causes unnecessary degradation of the battery and occasionally causes them to pillow. It would be nice if LineageOS had a feature that let users alter the maximum charge limit, for applications where fully charging to 100% is undesirable.

I recently put LineageOS 20 on my OnePlus 9 Pro, and tried installing eSIM.me on my device. When I opened the app, it said that the device doesn't support it, but when I open it using the stock ROM, it has no issues. After a little googling, I learned that eSIM.me requires the OMAPI libraries and the system feature "android.hardware.se.omapi.uicc". Is there a build for the OnePlus 9 Pro that includes these, and if not, how would I add these when compiling my own build?

Having continual issues with heimdall. On Linux and Mac, I get a Failed to send handshake! Error. On windows, I get a list of errors with that last message saying Error: failed to access device. Libusb error: -12

Every time you recorded videos The recording is choppy So I try to update it through the store or just APK And it always comes out that it has a conflict with the application

I recently updated my Moto g7 power to the march update and the 2 button layout for the navigation buttons is gone from the options under system.

All that I see is gesture and three button

Latest Pale Moon (32.1.0), fresh profile, no addons/script blockers/about:config changes.

Any device 'builds' page I go to, it says

'This device doesn't have any builds available, please see wiki for more info'

When I refresh a builds page I can actually see the list of builds for a fraction of a second before it changes back to above message.

Also, the menu/navigation, browsing further devices builds pages, the URI in the location bar switches to a builds page of a device I visited earlier when I click the 'builds' tab of the device I'm currently browsing, if that makes any sense. And the 'changes' page for a device only displays the list of changes after I refresh it once after going there.

Can/should I report this in the LOS bug tracker somewhere?

And, minor annoyances: sha256 files no longer downloadable and recovery.img without device name and timestamp in file name are steps back in usability imho.

Are the stock apps (Jelly browser, snap camera, etc.) Required to boot? I'm considering debloating my OnePlus 3T to remove Jelly (I'm using bromite), is this okay or will it make the device bootloop? Running Lineage 18.1

Device is a bootloader unlocked oneplus 6t, struggling like crazy here, adb and fastboot work, device shows in both, I download twrp and it either says no such file or directory or "waiting for TWRP" boot in the program "all for one" on XDA.

I've tried so many twrp files I've losing my mind, followed so many guides and things just don't work and I don't know why.. I don't know what I'm missing here, even watching videos it just seems like it doesn't work like theirs does. I just need guidance, if there's a guide that really works, please.

Hi, So i've installed lineage 19.1 with microg a few months ago and I can see the contacts from the device or from my Google account but I never have been able to succeed to make it accessible to the different messaging apps. (Yes the permissions are of course granted)

I've also tried to export all my contacts from my google account (and apparently succeeded ) and then import it back to the device but still nothing in WhatsApp or signal or other messaging apps. I can create a contact from those apps and then it get registered on the device too and so I can see it then in the WhatsApp list for example but that's it.

Even for the calling app actually if I enter a number known from my contact list (the list I got from the sync with google and which is shown on the contacts tab) the calling app does not recognised it either. Any ideas about what I m doing wrong here ?

I just installed waydroid, which uses lineageos.
With the big screen of a laptop, i want to have a taskbar. Does lineageos have an option to enable that? I know android has one for big screens.
The image is rooted with magisk, with gapps enabled.

Some sites pointed to settings > system > developer options > smallest width, but that is set to 881, far above the minimum of 600. some sites also pointed to settings > system > buttons > enable taskbar, but i dont see that option.
