The bots add flavour to the sub, even the ones from other franchises. Isn't that right, Bobby B?

I agree. The bots and the whole Grond drama is why I visit this sub

Gandalf bot! What say you to this love?

u/gandalf-bot Jan 20 '23
Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. I found it is the small things, everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keeps the darkness at bay. Simple acts of love and kindness.

Saruman and Grond best bots

Gibbits and crows! Dotard! What do you want, ThatMrDuck? Let me guess. The key of Orthanc? Or perhaps the keys of Barad-Dur itself? Along with the crowns of the seven kings and the rods of the five wizards?

Hail Saruman the Bot, Saruman of Many Colours! Hail! May the Lord of Isengard rule Endor and Arda!

u/Saruman_Bot Istari Jan 20 '23
Who now has the strength to stand against the armies of Isengard ... and Mordor?

Mordor be damned, Saruman! Take it for yourself! Make thyself lord of this Middle-Earth!
2
u/Saruman_Bot Istari Jan 20 '23
Hmmmm, I see that you are bold, and brave. Such ambition is both appealing and dangerous. If I were to take power for myself, then all the free people of Middle-Earth would oppose me. This might work if I could find allies among them who could be convinced to support my rule...but this is a difficult task as none trust me after my betrayal of Gandalf.

Far, far below the deepest delvings of the dwarves, the world is gnawed by nameless things

Gandalf is a fool, mine friend, who uses the Hobbits as pawns and styles himself a good man. Saruman, thou art not such a man, take power and vanquish the cowardly Gandalf!

Evidently we look so much alike that your desire to make an incurable dent in my hat must be excused.

Gandalf the White. Gandalf the Fool! Does he seek to humble me with his newfound piety?

I like how they sometimes summon one another. Like Gandalf mentioning Saruman or Tom.

Your treachery has already cost many lives. Thousands more are now at risk. But you could save them Saruman_Bot. You were deep in the enemy's counsel.

I enjoy most of the bots. The one starting with gr I don't enjoy.

I’m with you, it’s a great deal of fun having a little lore pull with the humor.
